  • Produces Single Malt Whisky and Blended Whisky & has capacity 1.5 million litres per annum.

  • The distillery is open, operated by Bladnoch Distillery Limited & owned by David Prior from 2015 – present.

  • In 1878 the distillery was enlarged and modernised, presumably to cope with rising production. In 1966 production expanded to four stills. In 2016 refurbished with new equipment, including four 5 tonne mash tuns, six Douglas Fir wooden washbacks, two 12,500 litre capacity wash stills, two 9,500 litre capacity low wines stills, and a steam boiler that will be fuelled with LPG. Bladnoch currently designing and building a world class visitor experience and is expected by end 2018.
